I started lecturing in 2010 and have been teaching ever since. I have been a scientist, office manager, data systems co-ordinator and theatre producer.  I have had my writing performed on the London stage*. I am often to be found wandering about the countryside looking at interesting things.	Emma became my Teaching Assistant in 2014 and we hit it off immediately. She now works in university outreach and is ridiculously well-read. Her particular areas of interest are 18th Century literature and the Gothic.	It was with great sadness that Mr. Peaches left us at the end of 2025. He finally lost a long struggle with cancer after a full and happy life. We will shortly be interviewing for the position of Office Cat and will welcome applications from any interested felines.
